The Legacy 12 features match those of the Legacy 24. With just half the heating power of the 24, the Legacy 12 has capacity to spare beyond one full shower in warmer winter climates, but will support only a very weak shower on a January night up north.
Legacy Tankless series have all been proven with years of use, and are ready to stand up to the rigors of difficult conditions where a Digital Tankless might not dare to tread. If you can say "yes" to any of the following, you may be a candidate for ownership of a Paloma Legacy Tankless:
• Low water pressure, from a well, for example
• No electricity, or you want it to stand up to power outages.
• Your installation will involve a long vertical vent run (unlike Digital Tankless, Legacy units are atmospherically vented using less expensive, galvanized “B” vent).
